Project VIKAAS for Marginalized communities at Villages :-

Rohira village in Nuh district, Haryana before and after receiving help through our project VIKAAS. ‘Project VIKAAS; The project is three years old, was started in 2019 in Nuh district, Rohira village, Haryana with the aim of improving the living conditions of marginalized communities, and in its second phase now has spread to the villages of Naharpur and Gabanspur in Punhana. Project VIKAAS focusses on an integrated approach of well-being, including Education, Health, Livelihoods, Empowered the locals, Water conservation and improving farm livelihoods. The initiative has touched the lives of 1500 villagers beneficiaries till date promoting;

  • Education centre for educational Session and Classes on daily basis for Child Education,
  • Computer education Centre for Basic computer Knowledge,
  • Handicraft Skills Development Centre for Livelihood only for womens,
  • Health Awareness Centre Nutrition for good healthy balanced diet and basic testing.
  • Enhancing Farm productivity Session For Farm Livelihood mens and womens both.
  • Providing healthy learning environment improved the drinking water system in the village, has provided proper toilets, inculcated sanitation, and hygienic practices, promoting water-saving irrigation practices, making clean drinking water accessible.

Since 2019, Care India has been striving to bring about a change in the lives of the village locals at a time with constant support. The main focus is on creating positive changes, being educated and improving the lifestyle of people's in Rohira village through holistic rural development. The Project VIKAS team makes sure that in the course of this development and improving living conditions no harm or loss is made to the village peoples, As you seen in the picture schools and water chambers have been renovated. The team is helping the village in becoming sustainable and increasing its developmental rate without making sudden, major, uncomfortable changes that cannot be absorbed by the village people. Rather, small and slow steps are being taken keeping in mind the welfare of the local community.

On the day of the launch of Project VIKAAS, Care India commented how the Organisation is intrinsically linked to the education,health and resilience of the society. Added that the programs launch are relevant nationally and resonate with a global perspective, since Organisation have been working in this niche for about two decades. We are confident and optimistic about the upcoming better living conditions for the people of village.

The project will also take into account spreading correct information about the Covid 19 since 2020 to 2021 when the virus (COVID-19) spread out everywhere. The people's of Rohira village were not aware of the precautionary measure needed to stay safe and prevent the virus (COVID-19). This collaboration project will also shed some light on how to stay safe and protect themselves and their families.

As part of the vision of strengthening community-led rural development for positively impacting the lives of people, This three-year old project VIKAAS was launched in 2019 in the village of Rohira in Nuh district. In its second phase, the initiative is expanding to the villages of Naharpur and Gabanspur in Punhana block for improving the lives of the locals through holistic rural development.

Care India we strongly believe that an organisation purpose and values centre around doing good for communities today and for generations to come. As part of our commitment to building a healthier educated society, We launched Project VIKAAS, focussing on aspects that are crucial to rural welfare, for positively shaping lives. We are now expanding this initiative to two more villages and will be working closely with the local communities for their well-being. In addition to the ongoing initiatives, we also stepped up to the challenges.
